A Sought African game ranch with over 40 game species.
Moletani is located in the heart of the malaria-free Waterberg biome, and offers guests a unique wilderness experience in a game lodge with sweeping vistas of the landscape and over 20 game species.
Enjoy the Moletani safari ritual of sundowner drinks in the bar in a breathtakingly beautiful location – the essence of sundowners in the bush – or a guided game drive with once-in-a-lifetime experience of viewing buffalo (one of the Big 5) from close range.
Relax at the pool or with a book in a hammock between trees or enjoy the scenery with our 6m and 13km hiking trials.
Our Breakfast and Dinner options will allow you to put up your feet and unwind with a touch of elevated luxury and meals taken care of the South-African way.
Rhino Chalet
This chalet is our biggest and ideal for families, it sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms of which consist of a queen size bed in the main bedroom and 3 single beds.
Buffalo Chalet
This unit is our most secluded/private chalet and sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms of which consist of a double and 3 single beds.
Lion Chalet
This can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms of which have a queen bed and 2 single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom (shower).
Elephant Chalet
This chalet can accommodate 4 people in 2 bedrooms of which have a queen bed and 2 single beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower.
Kudu Rooms
Each room has 2 single beds that can be converted into a queen-size bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet.
Guided Game Drives
Non-staying persons are welcome to pre-book a game drive and view the buffalo (one of the Big5) with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing them from really close-up. R200/pp or R100 per child under 12.

We enjoyed it last time, my kids can’t get enough of that place. We have been to other places also and my kids keep asking to go back to Moletani. The owner loves kids and made the game drive very special for them.
We absolutely LOVED our experience at Moletani! The highlight for us was definitely the amazing staff and the overall cleanliness of the rooms.
The room we stayed in had a little kitchenette – but it wasn’t equipped for self catering (just a kettle and couple of mugs). HOWEVER, there was a communal kitchen, dinning and bonfire area, and that was fully equipped and even has a gas stove which can be used during loadshedding.
Overall, the place is EXCEPTIONALLY clean, calm and relaxing. Totally worth a visit.

Excellent venue, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The venue offers all that was expected. The bar onsite has a good selection and is ready for a big crowd.
Heerlik gekuier. Rustig en pure plaas. Danie en Riana het ons vriendelik ontvang en ons is die Saterdagmiddag op ‘n wildrit. Dit was heerlik en ons het baie wild gesien. Koedoes, rooibokke, elande, wildebeeste, kameelperde en buffels. Almal het dit baie geniet. Ons het elke dag ys gekry en daar was hout vir die vuur in die boma. Die sterre was pragtig in die donker weg van die stadsliggies en om wakker te word met patryse wat roep. Ons hoop om gou weer te gaan kuier.
